Siesta Comeback

For a while, it looked like the siesta was in danger of becoming a casualty of modern life. To suit the international economy, Spain's government has been trying to stop public servants from taking an afternoon nap, to put them on a more northern European 9 to 5 schedule. But now the siesta is reinventing itself to suit the modern world. A national company is encouraging its workers to take naps, to improve both their health and their productivity. And to increase turnover, hotels in Seville are now even offering siesta deals. Danny Wood takes a look at the revival of an old, Spanish legend.
