It's cherry blossom time in Japan. 🌸 Once a year 30,000 cherry trees - or sakura - burst briefly into bloom on Mt. Yoshino in Nara. The trees here are considered sacred and were first planted 1,300 years ago. Yoshino is legendary for hanami or cherry blossom viewing, and many classical poems have been inspired by its beauty. The blossoms encapsulate the concept that all things are transient, and we must savor their beauty while they last. 🌸 ❤️
