Siesta

si·es·ta (sē-ĕs'tə)
n.

A rest or nap after the midday meal.

[Spanish, from Latin sexta (hōra), sixth (hour), midday, feminine of sextus, sixth. See sext.] 午覺

我們不要忘記
才十二幾年前 中國在14:00之前是舉國不辦事的

我忘不了一些午休的工作日子
那麼遙遠

這種習慣與大小社會的價值觀相關
又有科學報告說午休小休是有益健康的

Siesta Comeback

For a while, it looked like the siesta was in danger of becoming a casualty of modern life. To suit the international economy, Spain's government has been trying to stop public servants from taking an afternoon nap, to put them on a more northern European 9 to 5 schedule. But now the siesta is reinventing itself to suit the modern world. A national company is encouraging its workers to take naps, to improve both their health and their productivity. And to increase turnover, hotels in Seville are now even offering siesta deals. Danny Wood takes a look at the revival of an old, Spanish legend.
