Norway has unveiled the designs for its new bank notes.

Norway has unveiled the designs for its new bank notes. Have a look at the winning entries - and the ones that didn't quite cut it. Which one is your favourite?

Some of the entrants included children's drawings, like these ones here.

Participants were asked to submit entries based on the theme "The Sea". Here's the winning front of Norway's new 100 kroner note - "Norwegian Living Space" designed by The Metric System.

And here's the winning design for the back of the note - "Beauty of Boundaries", submitted by Snøhetta Design. Judges said the winning note combined the traditional and the modern.

All the shortlisted designs feature at an exhibition in Oslo, which runs until 26 October.
